I came from a background in a dual career; one in the healing arts (yoga, massage) and one in gardening and ecological stewardship. I have been teaching yoga since 2011, am a licensed Massage and Cranial Sacral Therapist since 2015, and a lifetime gardener and movement medicine enthusiast.
Recently I figured out how to combine both of these careers and now love to teach mindful somatic nature connection, especially on or near Lake Superior.
My introduction was through becoming a Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide in 2018. The COVID 19 Pandemic helped my yoga classes by moving outdoors! I found that Body Movement and Trauma Informed Somatic Arts are very well received in a field of flowers, under a canopy of trees, or on a lake.
After moving to Northern Minnesota and spending my free time at or on the lakes I became an ACA certified Level 2 Kayak and SUP guide. The waters are so healing here and I am a strong believer of introducing folks to their own inner healer.
During my Cranial Sacral Therapy Sessions I rely on the assistance of ancient nature guides and the soothing vibrations of the Earth to aid in relieving deep seated tensions in the body. Fresh herbs and medicine from the garden bring their own wonder of healing.
I have traveled many distances and studied many traditions to come to this special place of meaningful offering. I welcome you to allow me to be your guide in both inner and outer worlds while moving heavy energies into a space of peace and light.
